Harmony United Church runs on the energy, generosity, and care of its volunteers. Whether you have an hour a month or a few hours a week, there is a place for you here. No special experience is required — only a willingness to show up and help.

Ways to Get Involved
There is a role for everyone at Harmony.
Outreach Support
Help with our annual yard sale and BBQ, food collections for the Harvest for Hunger campaign, and donations to the Current River Food Cupboard. Outreach volunteering is hands-on, community-facing work with a direct impact on local families and individuals in need.
Shut-in Support
Offer companionship and practical care to congregation members who cannot leave their homes. Pastoral visiting is one of the most personal and valued forms of service at Harmony. Contact the church office to learn how to take part.
Event Hosting
Greeters, scripture readers, coffee hosts, and helpers at seasonal meals, the corn and hot dog roast, the Crazy Hat Tea Party, and other community gatherings — every event depends on willing hands. No experience required, just a friendly face.
Committee Participation
Harmony's work is guided by volunteer committees covering finance, outreach, property, worship and education, and more. If you are interested in helping shape the direction of the congregation, the board welcomes your involvement.
